Born and raised in Memphis, TN, Megan is a Southern girl through and through. She wears many hats...wife to Justin, mom to Lyla June, teacher, designer, artist, and lover of life. Megan's Dad played a huge role in the establishment of June Bug Designs, which is named after her daughter, Lyla June. After cutting and playing with old scrap wood, he gave Megan a plaque, as they refer to them today. She painted what inspires any Mom...her family! A lover of anything custom, these "family plaques" quickly caught on and she started customizing for other beautiful families. "Every family has their own story to tell, this is my way of starting the conversation," says Megan.
