QUOTES:

We celebrated in both of those waiting seasons and were devastated in both of those seasons.

The Lord has taught us so much about who he is and how much he pursues us through our adoption journey with Zoe.

A question Claudia kept asking was “What if God’s best or His plan didn’t align with what I wanted…is He still good?”

We leaned so heavily on our community.

The adoption journey has changed how I view God.

I’ve realized how my mindset has affected me. from a very young age.

How I viewed myself wasn’t in the way God views me.

That thought of ‘I’m not good enough ‘took root in my mind.

Practical ways to overcome thought that is negative:

  1. Hold it up against what God says about me in the Word of God.

  2. Having community lift you up, celebrate with you, but let them know your struggles as well.

5 Ways to Live a Balanced Life: Claudia’s blog post

Gratitude, Nutrition, Exercise and Rest, Intentional Time with Family, Leave space to dream (intentionality)

Take time for yourself to dream for your future.

Wren mentions Nutella (90% of your diet should not be from processed foods).

Take a deep breath.

We wear a lot of hats as women, as moms, as business owners.

You can’t do it all, all the time.

Allow yourself to do a check in in the areas.

On the days you don’t get it all done, it’s okay.

Look at the impact you are having in your home, in your business, and in your community and celebrate those things.

Celebrate the things you are doing well!
