Hi friend!  I enjoyed having Katie from Dear Mushka on the podcast last week to hear her story of losing her mother, praying and waiting in her adoptiions,  and sharing about discipling her children.  You can go one episode back to hear that episode.  It was 116.

And, if you are liking what you hear I would love for you to do one of these three things that have to do with you podcast app on your phone….1)leave a star rating..you can even do that one right now if you are on your podcast app! Click the stars right under the title Friends of a Feather.  A 5 star rating would be great!  2) Leave a fun quick review….it could be as simple as: I love the guests on the podcast!  OR I am encouraged by the podcast!  Simple is great!  OK one more thing you could pick…3)tap the three little buttons on your podcast app to send this episode to a friend. I love getting a text from a friend with a podcast attached to it! Thanks ya’ll.

God gives you so much more in His time than what you had created in your own head as perfect.
— Sarah Tucker, Friends of a Feather Podcast, ep. 117

Today’s episode is with my friend, Sarah Tucker.  After an infection going to her heart, Sarah had open heart surgery at the age of 23. We talk about how God was faithful to her through other people ministering to her, what her mom prayed for Sarah during that difficult time, and why Sarah is grateful for the hard things she has walked through.

Sarah also gives encouragement to us as  she shares how we are all influencers regardless if its 10 followers on social media or loving our families well.  Whatever you are walking through today, think on that verse she mentioned out of Joel and that God will restore the years the locust have eaten.

The LORD says, “I will give you back what you lost to the swarming locusts, the hopping locusts, the stripping locusts, and the cutting locusts. It was I who sent this great destroying army against you.
— Joel 2:25
