What I Wish I Knew When I Started My Business in 2020

We use tools in our lives everyday. We use vehicles that get us from Point A to Point B. Our vehicle is a tool. We use a vegetable peeler to help us peel potatoes. The peeler is a tool. There are business tools we use every week as well!

Back in the Spring of 2020 when I started my coaching business, I wish I knew I needed business tools set up for me. Today I’ll be sharing the 5 business tools I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT!

Maybe this will help you when you are starting out!!

Here is my FIRST TIP I wish I had known When I started my business in 2020

1) a weekly/monthly set aside TIME TO CREATE:

Creativity to Create Content

WHY: You think you will work the quiet into your day, but if you do not set aside time for you to think in the quiet, it will not happen. Ask me how I know:)

I feel this is so important, I schedule in time to create content for episodes in my streamlining calendar I offer my coaching clients. No matter if you are writer, blogger, coach, or product owner, you have to build in time to your schedule for content creation. And, you can't create content if you are not quiet and able to think. Everyday in the quiet, I use Palms Up in a way to give the Lord my day, to ask him to lead me through that day.

2) A BRANDED PLACE WHERE YOU TELL YOUR STORY: (THE 1ST PLACE PEOPLE CAN FIND YOU)

A Podcast: There are two kinds of podcasts. 1) A podcast capsule and a weekly podcast

WHY: Everybody needs visibility for their business. For their brand and name to get out there...a podcast is a great way to do that!!

from The 10X Rule....Grant Cardone says that most business owners have a problem getting consistent income and clients because they are not known. Falling into the trap of obscurity. Don't Be One.

3) A 2ND PLACE PEOPLE CAN FIND YOU: Email list *repurpose

WHY: I knew an email list was important. To get your ideal client in your business. 70% of sales come from your email list. So, when it is time to sell, you do it well and those warm leads buy!! If you get stuck in a what do I say funk, I have a groovy friend who is offering a FREE webinar on August...and at the end she will share about her email marketing class. I have taken it and it has helped me tremendously!!!!
