Right out of the gate, Wren asks Dr. Graham how she started her podcast and she shares how she was terrified of speaking. But she also realized what an opportunity a podcast can give her as an avenue to speak and to showcase others.

Dr. Graham continued to share how differentiating yourself in the marketplace is imperative and how our calling is intertwined with that.

A really thorough and helpful exercise for how to differentiate yourself from others is to write down every job, every experience you have had that has developed you into the person you are….things such as your expertise, your childhood experiences, your talents, your emotional intelligence…write it all down. It will take time she adds, but it’s worth it.

Dr. Graham also shared that differentiating ourselves gives us clarity and will attract our “soul mate clients”: those clients who are the ones we will serve best.

“If we are hiding ourselves we are not presenting ourselves to the world and to that person you are to serve.”
