It establishes authority in your niche (When a biz owner has a podcast, even if they aren’t they are set up as an expert in their field!)
It’s a strong marketing tool (you offer value and then forward ppl back to your biz)
It’s evergreen (It will allow you to reach future clients as you sleep!)
It creates incredible visibility without even trying!
Podcasting endears you to your listeners. (have you ever had a bff that didn’t know you existed? Yeah me too)their called podcast hosts. Am i right?
It’s very economical.
And, of course, it’s fun!
But how do you know if it’s right for you?
Here are three questions to ask yourself if you are Thinking about Starting a Podcast!
Do you know that what you offer is unique? Mindset is everything and if you know what you offer is unique and needed in the marketplace, you are good to go. Confidence is everything and you need to have that when you start your podcast.
Do you have products or services that you offer? If you want to podcast as a passion project or ministry, that’s totally great. But, don’t expect to bring in loads of money from it unless you are Annie F. Downs, LOL SPICY TAKE: t’s hard to point ppl back to your biz if you have nothing to offer them.
Do you have ideas of the type of content you would like to share?
HOT TIP: Activity: Do a brain dump of the type of content you think your listener would be interested in hearing.
So, three things:
Know that what you offer is unique
Have offers that you can sell
Have at least 8 episode ideas
