Uncovering the Magic in your Message with Wren Robbins

Uncovering the Magic in your Message

“What is ordinary to you is magic to someone else.”

What an important message for us to grasp - it can make all the difference in ultimately accomplishing what we were designed to do!

Most of us don’t have problems dreaming big dreams.

Many of us don’t even have problems starting to make steps towards them, whether it’s doing some research about the idea, learning a new skill you’ll need for it, getting coaching, or actually starting the new project.

However, few of us overcome the inevitable obstacles we encounter to actually succeed.

Why do we settle for ordinary?

Because we start to doubt whether whatever we’re doing is  “good”...or, more accurately,  “good enough.” We start to actually believe that because our message seems ordinary to ourselves, it holds no magic at all.

“The battle is won or lost in the mind.”  Joan of Arc, paraphrased

When we convince ourselves that we’re not good enough, that we don’t really have anything to offer, we will stay stuck. We will fail to live out whatever it is that God has specifically led us to share!

I struggle with this too - and still can from time to time if I’m not careful. But a conversation with business coach and author Brian Dixon helped me to turn things around. During a coaching call with him a few years ago, he showed me the value of having an unconnected skilled pair of eyes peer into my business. He showed me that what I knew and wanted to share was not ordinary, but indeed magical…

And I’d like to do the same for you right now

Before you get started, pull out a journal or notebook. Then,

1 - Go back and, with fresh ears, relisten to any podcasts you've been a guest on (in other words, forget it’s YOU you’re listening to!). Write down any comments you hear that “pack a punch.” Look for one-liners, something short-and-sweet, something quotable.

2 - (If you haven’t been a guest anywhere (yet,) start here). Then go back to any FB Lives you’ve done, or other social media posts, and do the same.

3 - Keep building this collection as you continue to share your message…

You may be amazed at all the magic you’ll find!
